Tales of Eddie is a Danish wine brand that was born during a journey to Australia. Behind the brand are the couple, Nadja and Andreas, who came up with the idea during their working holiday in the wine capital, Hunter Valley – home to some of Australia’s most acclaimed wines.
After three educational months working in the vineyards, the couple decided to settle down in a house in Hunter Valley. During their stay, they decided to get a dog – a companion who could become part of the adventure. Their choice was a Whippet, an elegant and fast dog, a smaller version of the well-known Greyhound. They named him Eddie.
Eddie quickly became an indispensable part of their wine journey. With his sharp nose, he was trained to distinguish between grapes and their aromas. He learned to point out where the most intense and flavorful grapes were found, becoming an active part of the work of creating wines that balance purity, intensity, and character.
Each wine in Tales of Eddie represents a chapter in his story – a new tale, a new taste experience.
